I am excited today to report that White Wizard Games has just started a new Kickstarter Campaign to bring Epic (the card game) to digital. Yes it has already met its goal of $50K!

White Wizard Games are the creators of Star Realms which is an awesome deck building game, which also came to digital.

So what is Epic Digital? From the Kickstarter page: “Epic Digital is a fast-paced card game of fantasy combat designed by Hall of Fame Magic players Rob Dougherty and Darwin Kastle. It has all the amazing game play and beautiful art of a digital trading card game, but instead of having to chase down hard-to-find cards with each set release, you get unlimited copies of every card for one low price.”

The levels of support are very reasonable – you get a ton of stuff with them. I have the Epic card game, which I also backed on Kickstarter, but have not played it very much. I am definitely going to back this project tonight so I can learn the game better and play online or on my phone at work 🙂

About two months ago, I review a neat app, Preparture. To see what it is all about, head over to my previous review.  For those too lazy to click the link 🙂 , Preparture is a free app for both Android and iOS users and is designed for travelers. The app allows you to select your mode of transportation, your destination, and what you are looking for. The app then will show you what you want and where it is located on your route.

Well today, I am happy to announce that the app has been updated. It still is easy to use, well laid out, and gives you a ton of useful information.  So what is new?

• A new home screen
• Though designed initially for travelers, the app now provides options for the non-traveler
• Users can now select multiple places, thus creating a plan before arriving or if staying local
• Users can also include their personal addresses to the plan as well
• Users can now preview a business before selecting it or including it to their plan
• After creating a plan, the app gives the user a default estimated time to stay at the business (location). If they don’t like the time allocated, they can  simply click on it and modify the time
• If users don’t like the plan and want to change the first stop, they can edit organize the list of businesses or locations
• Users can add a business to their favorites.  Favorites can be easily accessed in the settings menu

Overall these are a nice set of updates the app and really make it better.  Check out the updated video.

You are the only one left to save this monstrous world and hill climb your way to the castle of where the fallen undead zombies have their safe-haven. This new division of zombies are not easy to beat, use the winnings from every mission to upgrade your monster car.

Well this game is finally out. Have you tried it yet? I have and agree with most folks, it is a lot of fun and has a ton of depth with it. Instead of doing a formal review I thought I would cut to the chase and give you my pros and cons of the game and then some links to other sites for reviews, game information, and commentary on the game.

Will these cons keep me from playing the game? No and I understand these are used to help make money in the game.

Since the game is relatively new, it will be neat to see where the game goes and the future updates that Supercell will employee.  Until then, I will be taking on opponents around the world and seeing if my deck will beat theirs. Happy Clashing!
