You can choose to play against a Facebook friend, Google+ friend, someone from your contact list, a random player or you can simply search for the player you want to compete against. New categories are added frequently to the game and some of the newest specialty subjects include “Frights & Delights”, “Breaking Bad”, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Frida Kahlo”. This game will also keep track of your personal overall stats including your average game score, average round score, best game score and questions correct; and you can see how you rank against hundreds of other players in the Leaderboard tab upon linking your Facebook and/or Google Plus account to the game.

What makes this game stand out from most trivia games is both players have an equal chance of winning by playing their strengths through selecting their category of expertise. This is the same element that made game shows like $64,000 Question as appealing as they were back in their hey-day. There are a wide variety of questions to be answered to reduce the likelihood of running into repeat questions and the developers have done a great job with the question writing and difficulty, as well as providing supplementary fun facts pertaining some of the answers.

Trivie is easy to play, has great sound effects and a nice smooth jazz soundtrack for the game’s main theme and is fun for everyone (and I mean everyone) to play. This game is free to download in the Google Play and iTunes app store and would be a great app to add to your game collection, if you have one.
