A great app for helping to keep your Android device clean and running fast- the Cleaner app from Mirmay Limited
I am sort of a neat freak, I like to keep things organized. Keeping electronic things organized though can somewhat challenging since you do really “see” them. When I first got my Galaxy Note 2, I searched the market for an app to help keep my new phone cleaned out. I tried a number of different ones but never really found one that I liked. I have one now that works well but keeps asking me to purchase the pro version. I am definitely open to helping developers but I still on the fence regarding the long term use of that app for my phone.
Today I am posting about a new app that I was recently made aware of that just might be the one for me. The app is The Cleaner. Bottom line: It looks great, works well, and already has over 12000 5 star ratings on Google Play.
The app has a beautifully done interface and numerous themes you can use to customize the colors of the app. You can even setup notifications within the app so you can keep up with cleaning out of all of the junk and boost your device’s performance!
The app has two main areas: Memory and Storage. When you first open either, you see a Analyze button. Click this and the app will go through and see what the status is of your phone. The Memory section will show you which apps are running and how much memory they are using. When I first ran the app I was told 456 MB were being used. I hit clean and the app went through and freed up that memory for a 22% boost. The Cleaner provides a detail listing of the apps (with a check box), you can uncheck any box you like to leave that app running.
The same thing is true for Storage. The app will show you how much space is being taken up with app cache and you can choose which to clean or not. It also shows you what is located in the download folder.
Also need to mention that the app comes with some very nice looking widgets you can use on your home screen.
Did I say this app looks beautiful? Did I say it is free with NO ADS or annoying notifications about getting the pro version? Did I say it works great? Did I say over 12000 users have given it 5 stars already?
