Bounty Hunt: Western Duel

Engage in duels and shoot bottles on barrels in Bounty Hunt. This western features a touchscreen trigger that requires the player to touch the gun and swipe the screen diagonally until the finger is placed on the target; then remove the finger from the screen to fire a shot at the target. The game features a multiplayer mode that uses Wi-Fi.

Bladeslinger

Make your way through a canyon fighting monsters in Bladeslinger. Use the touchscreen to move and change the camera view. When you encounter enemies, use sword strikes and punches to defeat them. Sword strikes are performed by swiping the screen and punches are thrown by pressing the on-screen fist icon. The eerie music playing in the background sets the mode nicely.

Gunslinger Shooting Challenge

This is a decent shooting game with smooth controls and nice graphics. The music matches the western theme. Use the left side of the touchscreen to aim at the targets and fire by tapping the right side of the screen.

This game has great graphics and a useful training mode. But the first stage will leave you wondering what happened. It is the Assassination of John Folsom, and things don’t go quite as planned.

High Noon

High Noon is a Western-themed game that uses the tilt motion function of the smartphone to aim. Tilt the phone side-to-side to place the crosshairs on the target. Then tap the screen to fire a round at the target. When you run out of bullets, tilt the phone down to open the chamber and reload each round by tapping the screen. This game features quick duels, which are realistic. You can join gangs or create one. There’s messages left by the postmaster, and you can invite friends from Facebook to play.

If you can’t decide which game on the list to play, I recommend Bounty Hunt: Western Duel. It uses the technology in the smartphone to enhance the gameplay. Plus, there are two types of gameplay: target shooting and duels.

Try to knock down as many cans as you can in Can Knockdown. Swipe the screen toward the stack of cans to throw the ball. The intensity and direction of the swipe affects where the ball goes and how hard it strikes the cans. You only have a few balls to throw, so score as many points as possible.

Impossible Draw

As symbols approach you, draw it on the touchscreen with your finger. The goal is to accurately match the symbol to get points. The game progresses after each symbol is correctly drawn. You have several attempts before the symbol reaches you.

The goal of this game is to direct a laser into a spot by moving blocks. It’s a hard game to play.

Solitaire

Play a game of solitaire on your smartphone. This one is well-designed and easy to play. Build columns of cards in order to separate each of the four suits. It’s challenging. If you can’t finish the game, start a new one.

Which One to Download?

If you don’t have that much time to play or don’t have enough memory on your phone, get Can Knockdown. It’s easy to play, but difficult to get a lot of points. It has high replayability, so keep playing while waiting for the Thanksgiving turkey to roast.

There are several space-based games for smartphones. Some involve racing, while others are mission-based. There’s even space games that require the player to destroy incoming enemies. All are listed below.

Space Racing 3D

Start playing immediately as an Aurora aircraft flying through The Dead Mine in Space Racing 3D. It features long, futuristic highways and massive buildings in a gloomy city. The aircraft stays close to the ground and is restricted to the course by shoulders. Anticipate curves as they approach and collect items as you play. Control the aircraft with on-screen arrow buttons or tilt control. The aircraft travels too fast to use tilt controls accurately. It’s better to play with on-screen touch buttons. This game also features a few weapons that you can fire at other aircraft racing against you.

Cold Space

Fly through space firing automatic weapons at incoming enemies in Cold Space. The game moves vertically, and all you have to do is use the touchscreen to navigate the aircraft side to side. You can also move from the lower part of the screen to the upper part of the screen. The weapons can be changed as well.

Space Race 3D

Space Race 3D takes place on a futuristic, space highway. It has wide lanes, which make playing much more enjoyable. Use the touchscreen to turn the aircraft right or left. If you don’t like that control scheme, you can select tilt motion control at the start of a new game. After trying both, the touch screen control option is much better.

Avicii Gravity

Avicii Gravity features three tracks on which the aircraft can hover on. They are situated around you in a pyramidal shape. Swipe the screen left or right to jump onto an adjacent track. Try to collect as many items as you can while flying through the course. The game places incorrect items, which you must avoid collecting. Avoid obstacles and occasionally break through them. A catchy tune in the background provides the right ambience for this game.

Space Corsair

If you are looking for a different type of space game, try Space Corsair. In this game, you fly a spaceship through space destroying asteroids and docking at space stations. There are several missions as well. Find the yellow target crosshairs and follow it to your destination. An on-screen directional pad is available to navigate. At the space station you can buy and sell items including gemstones, energy cells, lasers, and shields. When docking at space stations, approach slowly to allow the tractor beams to guide you in.

The best game on this list is Avicii Gravity. It has a cool concept, challenging gameplay, and great music.

Halloween Mystery is a jigsaw puzzle game. Build pictures of ghosts, pumpkins, witches, and Halloween themed scenes.

Castle Dungeon – Murder Mystery

This is a who-done-it mystery game that can be played with six players. Each player picks a character. The choices include: highway bandit, political prisoner, burglar, poacher, smuggler, and spy. You can use one phone or multiple phones. If you are using one phone, pass it around when your character is displayed. Take notes on a paper, take a screenshot, or memorizing the character’s information. Then, make your accusation as to who the murderer is.

Halloween Party

Jump from one pumpkin to another in this game. Tap the screen to jump in the direction you want to go. To do this, watch the tiny witch attached to the pumpkin and wait until it is facing the pumpkin you want it to jump to. But the point of the game is to collect the candy floating between the rows of pumpkins. So aim at the pieces of candy. Be aware of the fiery pumpkins, which will kill you if you land on them.

Shoot pool on your smartphone with 8 Ball Pool. This game is challenging and realistic. Line up the pool stick with the ball and take aim. If you miss, your opponent will have an opportunity to make the shot.

King Of Thieves

Escape from a prison in King of Thieves. The character runs on its own, but you’ll have to tap the screen to jump. Use multiple taps to reach high platforms and avoid traps. While playing, reach achievements like collecting 30 stars in single player.

TETRIS

The smartphone version of Tetris is not the best version of the block-building game. It takes a while to get used to. There are two ways to stack blocks in this game, either by swiping or one-touch. One-touch is a better way to play. All the possible positions of the block are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Tap the location you want, and the block will instantly be placed there.

Project: SLENDER

Walk aimlessly through the murky, dark hallways of a sanatorium, hospital, and other scary buildings in Project: SLENDER. You will have a camera that records the places you go, and the perspective for the player is the viewfinder of the camera. The game also features outdoor locations including a forest and a closed carnival. I’m not quite sure what you are supposed to do in this game, except walk around.

Slenderman Must Die Chapter 4

In this game, you must find 8 pages in a city before a scary dude finds you. There are on-screen buttons for running and jumping. If it comes to it, you can also fire a gun. Move through the city by pressing the left side of the screen, and change the direction by swiping the right side of the screen. A directional pad will appear on the left side of the screen when you touch it.

Lighten the mood a bit with this dress-up costume game. Select the shoes, skirt, top, hair, and accessories for your model. Then choose a Halloween background wallpaper to match and take a picture of the finished project.

If I was forced to download only one game from this list it would be the Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 demo. It has the perfect setting for a Halloween game, and the game itself is well-designed. The hours during the night shift are paced well, thanks to good graphics and sounds. You get comfortable while watching the cameras, which is exactly what you shouldn’t do. Download the game to see what happens.

This game features another popular video game character – Lara Croft. Side-step, jump, and slide your way through the jungle. It is similar to Temple Run 2, but it isn’t paced as well. The result is hitting obstacles instead of avoiding them. Parkour-style moves make up for this. So does the graphics and the opening story.

Run through the streets of New York in this game. Back alleys, parking lots, and city streets are some of the places you will see. Use the tilt motion function of the smartphone to lean to the left or right. This will help you avoid crates, cars, and trash cans. Amazing Run 3D

Take part in an obstacle course filled with rotating, q-tip shaped pylons, swinging hammers, and bouncing trampolines. It’s like a TV game show where the players try to finish the course faster than their competition. It is addictive and despite the annoying thumbs in the tutorial, this game is well-designed. But it’s hard to win. The touchscreen is really responsive so use it to your advantage. Drag your thumb slowly in the direction you’d like to move. Remember to back up before an obstacle by moving your thumb to the left. Swipe the screen up to jump, and swipe down and hold the screen to duck.

Recommendation:

The best game in this list is Lara Croft: Relic Run. It has the best graphics, cool advanced running moves (wall run and parkour leap), and easy-to-play levels. Plus, it has a well-written story to go with the action.
