I have never played the game 2048 but I got my first shot at it when I tried The Incredible Tiles 2048 from Go Games, Ltd.  If you are not familiar with 2048, here is what the wiki page says about the game: “2048 is a single-player puzzle game created in March 2014 by 19-year-old Italian web developer Gabriele Cirulli, in which the objective is to slide numbered tiles on a grid to combine them and create a tile with the number 2048. It can be regarded as a type of sliding block puzzle.” Overall the game is pretty cool and if you enjoy Sudoku, then I think you will like 2048. There are quite a few variations of this game out there for Android and iOS so you have many choices. After playing this version of it, I can recommend The Incredible Tiles 2048. This is a beautifully designed game and provides users with some customization and solid game play. The game is free but there different skins you can purchase…

I have never played the game 2048 but I got my first shot at it when I tried The Incredible Tiles 2048 from Go Games, Ltd.

If you are not familiar with 2048, here is what the wiki page says about the game:

Overall the game is pretty cool and if you enjoy Sudoku, then I think you will like 2048. There are quite a few variations of this game out there for Android and iOS so you have many choices. After playing this version of it, I can recommend The Incredible Tiles 2048.

This is a beautifully designed game and provides users with some customization and solid game play. The game is free but there different skins you can purchase via IAPs. There are also gold coins you can purchase via IAPs too (more about those later).

The one knock I will say about the game is that there really isn’t any tutorial or explanation of things in the game. Being new to the game, I was a bit confused at first and had to go elsewhere to understand the game but other than that the game is very well done.

The game currently has 3 game modes:

Classic 4×4 square
Classic 5×5 square
Arcade – has some special bonuses and targe scores you need to play for.

So how do you play? All you need to do is swipe the numbers up/down, left/right so that 2 matches with 2. That becomes a 4 and then you want match 2 4s to become 8 and so on. When two numbers match, then another set of 2s appear randomly on the board. The problem is that numbers get trapped so you need to try and figure out a way to slide the current numbers to get to the others.

The game is free to play but if you would like to undo a move, get an extra 2, erase a number it will cost you gold coins. You will earn some as you play but you can purchase more. I found playing without spending any gold fine.

The game also has a Daily Event which you can do to earn gold coins.

2048 is a great puzzle game and one that will give your brain a workout. Now a single game is not fast, so when you play make sure you have a few minutes to enjoy it.
