This post covers two iOS apps that can help you grow!

1. Math Tower

If you want to test out your math skills, then give Math Tower a try. In the game you need to find the combination of numbers in the blocks that when string together add up to the last number in the string. Sound tough? Well it can be but once you play for a little you should get the hang of it.  The game is timed and the longer you take, the more numbers will fall down. On the board there are hearts and striped blocks you can collect along the way to help you out.  To advance to the next level, you need to earn enough points.

Overall this is a great game to make you think. It comes with a nice tutorial and after you complete a level you can go back and redo in in the practice area. The game has the Game center connected to it.  After finally figuring out how to play the game, I really enjoyed it and definitely helped my math skills.

2. Paper Spiral

For any artist out there, Paper Spiral is a great app to have on your iPad. If you need a sketch pad on the go, this is one to try.  There really isn’t a whole to explain about the app. You can create unlimited number of project and then easily share them with others. You can use your finger or a stylus to draw. The app’s menu layout is nicely done and does not take up a lot of space so you the maximum space to draw.  The app allows you to change the style of line, the color, and thickness. I am not much of an artist but I enjoyed drawing with the app. Kids should also like it.
