TriPeaks Solitaire Challenge [Game Review]

One of the first card games that I learned as a kid was Solitaire. After that it was Kings in the Corner. 🙂 I enjoy card games so when one comes to the digital realm, I will take a look.  Today I am looking at TriPeaks Solitaire Challenge from Giantix Studios.

TriPeaks Solitaire is slightly different from standard solitaire.  In the game you have three stacks or peaks of card and the object of the game is to clear all of the cards from the three peaks. If you cannot pull a card from the peaks then you need to draw a card. If you finish drawing cards and cannot move any more cards you from the peaks you lose.

This is a free game but you will only see ads in between games; which is a nice feature.

Unlike normal solitaire, you do not need to alternate colors or suits to clear cards, you simply need to deal with the number. So if you have a three (of any color or suit) you can put a two or a four (of any color or suit) on it. This does make the game go a bit faster. I am not sure if TriPeak Solitaire has a play mode where you need to take into account color or suit but that would add to the challenge.

This is a very simple and straight forward game. Now this is not a bad things, it is a good feature. There are so many games out there that are trying to do so many things. I would rather have one game that does what it is supposed to do well. Giantix Studios has done a good job with the game and I have no problem recommending it to digital card players.

The graphics, sounds, controls are well done and the game works well on both large and small screens.

As with solitaire games, you normally want to challenge yourself to see how well you do. The game has a nice set of statistics so you can see how well you have done.

The game will keep track of:

  • High score
  • Level high score
  • Best Level time
  • Best Streak

Not sure what else I can tell you. TriPeaks Solitaire Challenge from Giantix Studios is simple and fun card game that will keep you busy when you have a few minutes to kill.
