I remember as a kid that my elementary school, had fallout shelter signs in many places. Yes this was in the days before Internet. Years ago we prepared for bombings and had designated shelters to go to. Well those days are gone.
This week the E3 2015 conference is going on and lots of neat games and electronics are being introduced. One of the games out now is Fallout Shelter from Bethesda Softworks LLC. This is a free game (with IAPs) currently only available for iOS but the Android version will be coming shortly.
In the game you are in charge of managing a fallout shelter. As citizens come you will need to given them jobs, make sure they are busy, and expand the facility to make sure everyone has a place to be. If you enjoy time management games or played games like Tiny Towers, you will quickly get into the game.
I love the retro graphics and sounds of the game! The game allows for 3 saved games or vaults. I am now the manager of vault 187! You start off with a couple of rooms underground and a friendly tutorial shows you the ropes. Power, food, and water are the basics to survival. How good of a vault manager can you be?
The game is fun and one that you can play a little every day. Well Josh took a look at Fallout Shelter for this week’s video review. Enjoy.
