Timberman (from Pawel Jedrysiak) is a great new and addicting game for both Android and iOS devices. It currently is one of the most popular games on both markets. If you enjoyed Flappy Birds, then Timberman is right up your alley.
In Timberman, the goal is to see how much you can chop while avoiding the branches.
This is a free game supported by ads which you can remove via an in-app purchase. You can also unlock all of the characters with another in-app purchase. Now you can unlock characters by getting high scores or chopping a certain amount overall. So the more you play, the more you can unlock. There is also a leader board for those interested.
The game is fast, fun, and addicting. So far I am finding out that I type better than I chop!
