Do you remember that song by Bobby McFerrin from back in 1988? I do. 🙂

Today I am looking at a new app called My Happy. This is a free app available for both Android and iOS devices. See the download links below.

The app allows you to create unique and nicely designed inspirational posters, which are called Happies.  The overall process is pretty simple. You can choose from a gallery of pre-made motivational quotes and templates, or create your own using your photos and text.  When you are done, you simple send off your happy to your friends or family. Overall the app is easy to use and should be very intuitive most users.

Key features:

  • Simple, intuitive interface
  • Variety of filters and fonts
  • Tons of templates and pre-made messages to use

This is a fun app and built for one purpose, to help spread some good cheer. If you head over to the developer’s website, they talk about the Power of Happiness.

“Happiness is one of our most powerful emotions. It transcends borders, enriches relationships and creates a better world for everyone. My Happy has been created to give you the power to share your happy thoughts and reach out to anyone, at anytime, anywhere in the world – and make their day.  Built on our belief that happiness is infinitely shareable, My Happy gives users the world over the means to create and share their positivity through a beautifully designed app.”

This sums it up pretty well. Everyone needs a little pick-me-up every once in a while. Yes you can send a text or call someone and tell them you miss them or love them, etc. but using an app like My Happy you can “show” your feelings and hopefully spread some good cheer. Spending some time creating a little note or finding the right quote and image can really mean a lot to someone.

There are a lot of things going on in the world today that really are depressing. The idea behind the app, Be Happy, is worthwhile and hopefully one more people will take advantage of.
