A fun matching game where you need to match in groups of 4, 5, or 6, and complete different goals on over 90 levels.
If you are like me you have been playing a ton of matching games on your Android device; I am talking about games like Candy Crush, Farm Hero Saga, and more. Well today I am reviewing a new matching game, one that I find a nice change: Match456 by Roglab.com.
Yes it is a matching game but in the game you will either match 4, 5, or 6 blocks. Also when moving a colored gem, they do not need to be next to each other! Select the gem you want to move and then tap on the one you want to switch it with.
I like this game and it definitely is a nice change from other matching games. The game comes with 95 stages which are broken up into different worlds. You need to play the game in order but you can replay any level you want once you have completed it.
When trying to match 4, 5, or 6 gems, you can move up/down, left/right and diagonally. I really like this way of playing. Just because you have more freedom in movement, you still need to be conservative and plan you moves wisely- you get so many!
This is a free game, supported by a small ad that does not get in the way. There IAPs for extra gold. Gold will be earned as you clear worlds and can be used to purchase extras such as +10% score, renew the board, erase blocks of same color, and more. The game is also connected to Google Play for achievements and leaderboard.
For each stage, there is a goal you must reach to advance. Some are timed, some you need to clear so many colored gems, some you need a certain score. When you finish a stage you can earn up to 3 stars.
Match456 is a very enjoyable matching game that adds a twist to that genre of game. I am finding myself having to redo levels because I am not meeting the goals. This is a good thing because I do not like a game that I can master after 5 minutes.
On the app’s Google Play page, the developer indicates that future updates will have:
- 2 players vs mode
- 2 players co-op mode
- Time attack mode
- New obstacle blocks
- New mission profiles
All of these should definitely add to this already fun game. So if you looking for a different and sometimes challenging matching game, give Match456 a shot.
