Braveland is a fun turn-based game where you begin in a small village that was recently raided. You go out to find those that did. Along the way you will fight many enemies but also will make new friends that will help you on your quest.
The game as two parts to it. The first part is moving across the land and stopping in various locations. At many of these locations you will need to fight enemies. Fighting is done on a hexagonal battlefield and is turn based. Move and attack and repeat until one side is dead. As you win battles your experience and money will grow. If you click on the main characters icon in the upper left of the screen you can see your progress, equipment, your squad and your leadership total.
The game is simple and fun which makes for a good combination. Every once in a while, folks just want to sit down to a game and jump right in. The game features 26 various warriors and creatures, 3 story chapters and a boss fights at the end of each chapter. There is a total of 50 battles.
The game allows for 3 saved games and there are no IAPs or stars to earn. The cartoon graphics are nicely done and the overall look and feel of the game are great. You can set the difficulty setting also for each game. So if you enjoy the old school approach and want a fun game, appropriate for the entire family, give Braveland a try.
