Description:

A new time management game has come to iOS, it is called Kingdom’s HeyDay. The name intrigued me so I got copy to try it out. It is an interesting game.

Here is what the developers said:

As rulers of the kingdom, players will put their management skills to the test by building homes for their citizens, developing infrastructure, helping neighboring kingdoms, and increasing kingdom’s wealth in the shortest time possible to earn the highest score – and lead their powerful empire to its heyday!

My thoughts:

The initial reviews of the game on the app market are not too good.  You can head over there to see them if you want. I have played the game a little bit but I must say I am a bit confused on what to do. From what I can tell, there are 144 levels and you must complete a series of task on each level to earn stars and move on.  As you complete a level, you will remove a pane of glass and allow you to see the overall kingdom.  You will be timed on your progress so the faster you can do it the better.

You will construct- residential, luxury, commercial,  and food production buildings. You will need deal with how much money you have, the overall luxury of the kingdom, and the income your buildings produce.  You can of course purchase in app coins to help you speed up the process.  The game reminds me of Royal Envoy.

Overall the game graphics and interface are good but I think the developer could do a better job in describing the game, its goals, and how to play. I think this could remove some of the confusion and comments others have made about the game.  If you enjoy time management challenge type games, give it a try and let us know what you think.
