FTM Mobile develops “one stop shop” apps for musicians to promote to their fans

FTM Mobile Apps, founded by Hip Hop Artist Quanstar, develops high-end style Native Android Applications for independent and unsigned musicians to promote to their fan base. No monthly charges, hidden fees, or passwords needed, their musician’s app is a “fully interactive experience developed to be a one stop shop for an artist’s fan base”. It costs $100 to build and features include:

  • Tour schedule via Songkick or Artist Data
  • Facebook and Twitter streams
  • Picture Gallery
  • Videos streamed from Youtube
  • Storefront that connects to the artist’s Bandcamp page

The apps are free for fans to download from The Google Play Market as long as they have a minimum API level 10 (Gingerbread Android 2.33). A couple of features that will be added soon are automatic cross app promotions and self serve push notification messaging, even though, right now the latter can be done in some way for a small fee. By the end of 2013, apps will also be available on Blackberry 10 devices.

FTM Mobile Apps, like its parent company First Team Music, was founded by Quanstar. It’s goal is to
empower independent musicians and provide them with a technological avenue, such as Android,
that will give their branding and marketing a residual effect.
